Fun Promotions Planned for Cougars’ 2023 Season

Post-match autographs are back among other promotions for 2023
HOUSTON − Houston volleyball opens its 2023 home slate with the Flo Hyman Classic Aug. 25-27 in Fertitta Center. The tournament will begin a season full of giveaways, promotions and ticket deals.
The team has multiple season-long promotions, including post-match autographs after every Saturday match (except the Flo Hyman Classic, where the autograph session will be on Sunday), a high-five tunnel for children 12-and-under at every match, kids activities at every match and t-shirt tosses.
Aug. 25 – Home Opener
Help cheer on the #19 Cougars as they start the year with a ranked matchup against #22 USC. Earn double points by checking in on Pride Rewards on the Houston Cougars app. The match will also feature a raffle during set breaks for UH students, with prizes including team issued gear, autographed UH volleyball, and an Artic Cooler.

Aug. 26 – HISD Night
All HISD students get FREE admission to Houston's battle against Southern Miss at 6 p.m. Aug. 26.

Aug. 27 – Princess Day
Come show off your inner princess as the Cougars close their opening weekend against McNeese at 5 p.m. Aug. 27. You don't even have to bring your own tiara. We'll have a crown-making station and photobooth to show off your royal look. Fans can also stay after the match for team autographs.

Oct. 6 – Big 12 Home Opener
Fill Fertitta for the Cougar's inaugural Big 12 home match against West Virginia on Oct. 6. Fans can get two tickets for $12 in honor of the momentous occasion.

Oct. 7 – Dig Pink | Camper Reunion
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and there is still awareness, funding and research to do to block cancer. Any donations to the Side-Out Foundation will receive free admission to the match.

Help your Cougars black out Fertitta in one of the biggest matches in the venue's history as Houston battles reigning National Champions Texas.
Is your dorm the most spirited? The dorm with the most attendees will receive free Tiffs Treats for the whole dorm!

Oct. 15 – The Eras Match | Alumni Day
We've got a blank space (on some seats), and we'll write your name. We dreamt of you all summer long, so you belong with us as Houston Volleyball throws it back in time on Alumni Day. All alumni are welcome in the Cougars' second match against Texas on Oct. 15 and UHAA members will get a special ticket package. It's been a long time coming…
Nov. 3 – Fertitta Fest
Calling all Cougars! Join the volleyball team and your fellow UH students for Fertitta Fest against UCF and earn double points on the UH Pride Rewards app.

Nov. 4 – Dads and Daughters Day
Go on a Dad-and-Daughter date to Fertitta Center as the Cougars take on UCF on Nov. 4. Dads and daughters will receive a special ticket package.

Help Houston turn the Fertitta Center RED as the Cougars battle TCU in a midweek matchup on Nov. 15.

Nov. 17 – Local Heroes Night
In honor of all of their crucial efforts to keep us safe, all first responders, military members and essential workers get in for free as the Cougars host Iowa State on Nov. 17.
Nov. 25 – Senior Day | Canned Food Drive
Help the Cougars fight hunger in our last home match of the year. All fans who bring food to donate receive free admission to our Senior Day match against Kansas State. Send the seniors off into the sunset with a pre-match senior ceremony and post-match autographs.
