Houston Athletics Releases Revised Benefit Levels

Announcement reflects adjustment to per-set amounts for Football, Men’s Basketball
HOUSTON – University of Houston Athletics has released its revised 2023-24 benefit levels for the Cougar Pride Athletic Fund, reflecting adjustments to per-seat amounts for Houston Football and Men's Basketball ahead of the department's inaugural season in the Big 12 Conference.
Per-seat increases for the introductory Big 12 campaign required adjustments to the Cougar Pride Athletic Fund benefit levels to ensure value integrity and best-practice stewardship. To view revised benefit levels, click here.
Cougar Pride membership levels, and associated stewardship, are determined by a member's annual unrestricted contribution through Cougar Pride. Per-seat commitments are included when determining one's benefit status along with outright philanthropic cash gifts.
Membership levels determine parking assignments for Football and Men's Basketball season ticket holders. Cougar Pride membership status also dictates access to premium products and postseason championship tickets.
To further justify level adjustments, new and expanded benefits will deliver heightened value to Cougar Pride members beginning this fall. A growing emphasis on experiences will mean unprecedented engagement, starting with a next-level Cougar Pride Tailgate at TDECU Stadium in partnership with Learfield / Houston Sports Properties for each Houston Football home game.
A new, Champions Level has also been created to honor those most generous to Houston Athletics on an annual, unrestricted basis.
"Our intent is to make sure each one of our donors feel valued and recognized for their support of our student-athletes, programs, athletics department and university," Vice President for Athletics Chris Pezman said. "Regardless of the giving level, it all adds up and matters. It's more important than ever that we find appropriate ways to recognize those who are helping us build as we transition into the Big 12."
The Cougar Pride Membership Levels will also be published in the 2023-24 Cougar Pride Athletic Fund Membership Guide on June 30. Members wishing to increase their 2023-24 Cougar Pride unrestricted contribution total to achieve a desired benefit level can click here.
