Divers Compete in Day 1 of NCAA Zone Championships

Farris, Grelz finish in top-18 of the 3-meter
MINNEAPOLIS – Jolie Blodgett, Chase Farris, Josie Graves, Hedda Grelz and Emilia Waters opened action on the 3-meter at the 2023 NCAA Zone D Diving Championships on Tuesday from the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota.
 
Houston's Farris and Grelz placed among the top-18 finishers of the event to advance to finals. Farris finished in 14th place with a total score of 610.95, while Grelz ended the day in 17th place with a score of 589.0.
 
Action resumes Wednesday at 11 a.m., with Blodgett and Grelz competing on the 1-meter The meet will be streamed here and live results can be accessed by clicking here.
 
The top-nine finishers in the 1-meter will advance to the 2023 NCAA Division I Swimming & Diving Championships March 15-18 in Knoxville Tenn., at the University of Tennessee's Allan Jones Aquatic Center.
