Tennis Set to Host #36 FIU, #64 South Florida

Houston prepared to face two nationally-ranked opponents
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Tennis program will begin its two-match homestand where it will face #36 FIU and #64 South Florida beginning Thursday at the Barbara Wallace Tennis Facility.

The Cougars (11-5), winners of three straight, look to defeat a ranked opponent for the first time since March 13, 2022 when Houston defeated No. 70 Florida Atlantic, 6-1 in Boca Raton, Fla.
The first match is set to take place against #36 FIU at 1 p.m., Thursday, followed by #64 South Florida at 10 a.m., Monday. Fans in attendance on Thursday against the Panthers will receive free Tiff's Treats while supplies last.Â

SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
Following their two-match homestand, the Cougars will travel to San Antonio, Texas to face UTSA at 1 p.m., Friday, April 7, for their final road match of the season.
Â
Houston will then host North Texas at 11 a.m., Friday, April 14 and will close out the regular season against #48 Rice at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 15 for Senior Day.

The Cougars will honor its three seniors, Sofia Chang, Azul Pedemonti and Manasi Reddy at the conclusion of the match.
