Sixteen Cougars look to impress NFL personnel with all 32 franchises represented
The event will begin at 3:30 p.m. with measurements followed by the vertical jump, bench press and broad jump. Participants will be timed in the 40-yard dash, take part in the 5-10-5 shuttle test as well as the three-cone drill in addition to position-specific drills for scouts in attendance.
This will be the second opportunities for three of Houston's participants to impress pro franchises as wide receiver Nathaniel Dell, quarterback Clayton Tune and defensive back Gervarrius Owens each participated in the NFL Combine less than one month ago.The trio will be joined by defensive back Art Green, defensive lineman D'Anthony Jones, linebacker Donavan Mutin, defensive lineman/fullback Derek Parish, tight end Christian Trahan, defensive lineman Atlias Bell, wide receiver KeSean Carter, running back Ta'Zhawn Henry, defensive back Jayce Rogers, kicker Bubba Baxa, defensive back Thabo Mwaniki, defensive lineman Jamykal Neal and quarterback Ike Ogbogu.

Houston has had at least one player selected in seven consecutive NFL Drafts (2016-present), the second longest streak in school history. In total, 188 Cougars have been selected all-time including 10 top-two round selections since 2005. A season ago, three Houston student-athletes were selected, led by No. 33 overall pick Logan Hall.

Seven-game packages begin as low as $175 to see the Cougars host UTSA (Sept. 2), TCU (Sept. 16), Sam Houston (Sept. 23), West Virginia (Oct. 12), Texas (Oct. 21), Cincinnati (Nov. 11) and Oklahoma State (Nov. 18) at TDECU Stadium. Houston's seven on-campus home games are its most since 2015.
