Houston takes on second place East Carolina in final road game of season
HOUSTON – The University of Houston women's basketball team's final regular season road game at East Carolina on Wednesday at 5 p.m. CT sets up a second place vs. third place matchup as the 2022-23 season inches to the finish line.

THE GAME
- East Carolina (10-4) is in second place in the American Athletic Conference standings with two more games played than Houston who is tied for third.
- Houston has won five of its last six games and currently is tied for third in the American with Memphis (8-4).
- Today's game features two of the top three teams in the country in forced turnovers. East Carolina forces 24.8 turnovers per game and Houston forces 24.4.
- The Cougars have won the last three meetings against the Pirates and won the last meeting in Greenville.
LAST TIME OUT
- Houston topped Temple 56-48 with three double-digit scorers.
- Tatyana Hill stuffed the stats sheet with 11 rebounds, five steals, four points, three blocks and a pair of assists in the win.
- Houston held Temple to just eight first quarter points.
- The Cougars won their first game under Ronald Hughey when shooting under 30% from the field. They were previously 0-30 when shooting less than 30% under Hughey.
