Two Complete Competition at Pan Am Games

Titus and Jimenez wrap up their events at the Pan Am Games
SANTIAGO, Chile – A pair of University of Houston Swimming & Diving student-athletes completed their stints at the Pan American Games on Tuesday, with Elizabeth Jimenez and Danielle Titus both swimming in their final events.
Jimenez finished 19th overall in the 100-meter backstroke and 21st overall in the 200-meter backstroke with times of 1:04.43 and 2:22.11, respectively. Titus captured 20th overall in the 100 backstroke with a 1:04.66 and 24th overall in the 200 backstroke with a 2:26.90.
After capturing sixth place in the 200-meter butterfly on Saturday, Ortiz continues competition on Tuesday with the 400-meter individual medley and Wednesday with the 200-meter individual medley.
