Kick Time, Network Set for Visit to Kansas State

Houston visits Kansas State in first matchup between programs one week from Saturday
MANHATTAN, Kan. – University of Houston Football's Big 12 Conference visit to Kansas State, set for Saturday, Oct. 28, from the Wildcats' Bill Synder Family Stadium will kick off at 11 a.m. CT and air on ESPN2, the Big 12 Conference announced Monday.
The matchup will be the first between the Cougars and Wildcats. Houston, which faces #8/8 Texas from a sold-out TDECU Stadium at 3 p.m., Saturday, is coming off its first Big 12 Conference win. The victory was also the first against an incumbent Big 12 school for any of the league's four new members.
Fans making the trip to see Houston take on Kansas State can join the excitement by taking part in UHAA's "Coogs on the Road" series which will feature a reception from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, from Norsemen Brewing Company (830 N. Kansas Ave.; Topeka, Kan., 66608).
Kansas State, which is off to a 4-2 start including a 2-1 mark in Big 12 action, plays host to TCU on Saturday. The Wildcats are the defending Big 12 Conference Champions after knocking off #3 TCU en route to an appearance in the Allstate Sugar Bowl a season ago.
