Cougars Unveil Fall Slate

Houston travels to trio of D1 opponents in fall, hosts Blinn, San Jacinto in Houston
HOUSTON – The University of Houston softball team will play a pair of opponents in doubleheaders at home this fall, a part of its five-team fall schedule announced Wednesday by head coach Kristin Vesely.

The Cougars will play singular games on the road Oct. 1-2 at Sam Houston and Texas A&M, respectively before playing a doubleheader against Blinn College Oct. 6.

A doubleheader at Lamar in Beaumont, Texas rounds out the fall road trips for Houston as the team returns to the friendly confines of Cougar Softball Stadium Oct. 12 to play a doubleheader against San Jacinto College to finish the fall campaign.

Houston played Texas A&M in a regular season double header finale in May, beating the Aggies twice, including a walk-off by Emma Robertson.

The Cougars went 4-0 against Texas A&M (DH) and Sam Houston (DH) in 2022.
