Cougar duo recognized among nation’s best by Pro Football Network
HOUSTON – A pair of University of Houston Football standouts will enter the upcoming campaign with preseason All-America status attached to their name.
Houston senior quarterback Clayton Tune and junior wide receiver Nathaniel Dell have been named Third-Team Preseason All-America by Pro Football Network, the sports media company announced Monday morning.
The recognition is the latest for the Cougars' 1-2 offensive punch. Tune and Dell are among two returning quarterback-wide receiver duos nationally with 3,500 passing yards and 1,300 receiving yards in 2021. Entering the 2022 season, the duo was recognized as the best at their positions in the state of Texas by Dave Campbell's Texas Football.
