Cougars, UNLV Announced Future Non-Conference Series

Houston to host Rebels in 2024, pay return visit in 2028
HOUSTON – University of Houston Football and UNLV have announced a pair of future non-conference games with the Cougars welcoming the Rebels to TDECU Stadium on Aug. 31, 2024, before visiting Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sept. 9, 2028.
Houston is 3-0 all-time against UNLV including defeating the Rebels 47-14 on Sept. 20, 2014, at TDECU Stadium. The Cougars defeated the Rebels 37-9 at the Astrodome on Sept. 8, 1990, and blanked UNLV 69-0 in the program's lone visit to Las Vegas on Sept. 2, 1989.
In addition to hosting the Rebels in 2024, Houston is scheduled to visit Boise State (Sept. 21). Houston's other previous announced 2028 matchup includes a visit from Sam Houston (Sept. 16).
