Fun Themes, Promotions Announced for 2022

HOUSTON − Houston softball will return home Mar. 10-13 against Boise State and Northwestern State and introduce the home-stand with fun marketing promotions, themes, and giveaways.Â
Join us at the ballpark for a Thursday doubleheader with Boise State and receive a rally towel from the marketing table at the top of the concourse behind home plate.
March 11-13 − Mental Health Awareness Weekend
The Cougars will draw attention to mental health awareness over the weekend which will include videos of softball student-athletes discussing on camera the importance of self-care and what mental health awareness means to them, as well as softball student-athletes anthem/lineup buddies comprising of their favorite professors they learn from each week.Â
March 22 − 80's NightÂ
Celebrate the 80's by throwing it back four-plus decades to everyone's favorite fashion and music decade with 80's jams, slang and attire. Fans who show up in 80's clothing will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win prizes, student-athletes will have 80's walk-up songs and the ballpark will be filled with 80's tunes.Â
March 30 − Strike Out Breast Cancer Game
The return of the SOBC game pits the Cougars with the Aggies of Texas A&M with the giveaway of 100 pink Houston Softball shirts and a silent auction ranging from signed items to lavish experiences.
April 1-3 − Kids Weekend + Bark in the Park
Join us for Kids Weekend as Houston hosts Memphis with two different themed days over the weekend, including Girl Scouts Night April 1, and Bark in the Park April 3. Bring your Girl Scout troop to the game with discounted group tickets for Girl Scout groups, recognition between innings and Girl Scout tables around the concourse. Bring your four-legged furry friends (vaccination required) on Sunday and get a free dog bowl! Enjoy the game with a special Dog Cam as well. Don't have a furry friend to bring? There will also be an adoption table set up for fans to adopt their next four-legged family member. As always, kids can run the bases following all Sunday games.
April 14-16 − 75th Anniversary Alumni Weekend
Let's relive and celebrate the past with $4 tickets for all UH alumni, ceremonial first pitches from alumni, a commemorative 75th Anniversary Coca-Cola bottle giveaway to the first 75 fans on the Friday game, and a postgame staff home run derby following the Saturday game.Â
April 22-24 − Senior WeekendÂ
Send our five seniors off in style with mini-Big Head giveaways of each senior, and a classic senior day ceremony for our beloved seniors.Â
