Tatyana Hill recorded a career-high seven steals against the Knights
HOUSTON – Despite Tatyana Hill's seven steals, the Cougars fell to UCF 54-44 on Wednesday evening.
Hill had a career-high seven steals against the Knights to go with six rebounds, four points and two blocks. Tiara Young led the team in points with nine and added one steal to the game.
First Quarter
The Knights got out to a fast start going ahead with a 6-2 lead. The Cougars (11-12, 4-7) countered with four straight points to end the quarter behind by only five, 15-10.
Second Quarter
In the second quarter, Houston held UCF to only four points, two coming from the free throw line. A layup from Young gave Houston the lead and the Cougars ended the quarter ahead 24-19.
Third Quarter
UCF returned the favor in the third quarter holding Houston to only six points. The Cougars maintained their lead by one to end the quarter with the score at 30-29.
Fourth Quarter
The Knights took control in the fourth quarter scoring 25 points. Many lead changes ultimately led to UCF taking a 10 point lead over the Cougars and the Knights closed the game 54-44.

The Cougars continue its homestand with a matchup against East Carolina on Wednesday, February 16 at 7 p.m.
