Cougars to Air on ESPNU May 1

Houston finishes regular season at South Florida on national television
HOUSTON – Houston softball will play on national television on May 1 against South Florida. The Cougars will play against the Bulls on ESPNU.
This is the first national television game for the Cougars since 2019 when Houston played on ESPN2 at Texas in the Austin Regional.
South Florida was picked by the coaches of the conference to win The American in 2022. The Bulls return Georgina Corrick, a preseason Top 50 Watch List selection by USA Softball. Corrick is a two-time All-American and posted a 24-9 record in 2021 with a 0.94 ERA.
Houston is 14-24 all-time against South Florida. Winning the third game of four meetings in 2021 between the two teams. The Cougars won the 2017 series in Houston and took the opening game of the 2018 series in Tampa, Fla.
