Houston travels to Lubbock for Friday match
HOUSTON – Houston tennis will travel to Lubbock to face Texas Tech at the McLeod Tennis Center for a Friday match starting with doubles play at 2 p.m. Singles competition will immediately follow.
The Cougars are coming off a strong weekend performance against Southern and Prairie View A&M. Houston showed a standout performance sweeping both teams 7-0.
The Cougars look to fight for their first road win of the spring season.
Texas Tech is 3-1 on the season with wins against UTEP, Abilene Christian, and South Carolina. The Red Raiders have only lost to No. 13 Texas A&M.
UP NEXT
The Cougars will return next week for a three game homestand at the Barbara Wallace Winston Tennis Facility. Houston will first face Lamar on Thursday at 1 p.m., Saturday against UTSA at 1 p.m., and will conclude on Monday against Northwestern State at 11 a.m.
Fans will have the opportunity to catch the Cougars at home for free eight more times throughout the spring.
