Cougars in the NFL: Week 9

HOUSTON – During Week 9 of the NFL, Tyus Bower made his season debut after returning from injury while Elandon Roberts posted a team high in tackles.

Tyus Bowser | Baltimore Ravens | W, 27-13 vs. Saints

Bowser made his season debut with the Ravens and had one quarterback hit. It was the first time Bowser played in a game after suffering an Achilles injury in his 2021 season finale. He played 34 snaps at outside linebacker.

Elandon Roberts | Miami Dolphins | W, 35-32 vs. Bears

Roberts led the team with nine tackles after starting the game at linebacker. He played 57 of 74 snaps at linebacker and five on special teams.

Marcus Jones | New England Patriots | W, 26-3 vs. Colts

Jones logged a 32-yard kickoff return while averaging 11.3 yards on three punt returns. He played seven snaps at cornerback with an assisted tackle and 18 snaps on special teams.

Payton Turner | New Orleans Saints | L, 27-13 vs. Ravens

Turner played 26 snaps at defensive end and five snaps on special teams while tallying three tackles and one tackle for loss.

Damarion Williams | Baltimore Ravens | W, 27-13 vs. Saints

Williams played seven snaps at cornerback and nine snaps on special teams and posted one tackle in the game.

Ed Oliver | Buffalo Bills | L, 20-17 vs. Jets

Oliver started and played 28 snaps at defensive tackle and posted four tackles against the Jets.

Logan Hall | Tampa Bay Buccaneers | W, 16-13 vs. Rams

Hall played nine snaps at defensive end and three snaps on special teams against the Rams.

Josh Jones | Arizona Cardinals | L, 31-21 vs. Seahawks

Jones played one snap at guard and three snaps on special teams against Seattle.
