Cougars picked to finish second in final American Athletic Conference season
HOUSTON – Single-game tickets and season tickets are on sale for the University of Houston women's basketball team. The Cougars were picked to finish second in the American Athletic Conference by the conference's coaches.
Houston's home opener will be against Texas A&M Commerce on Nov. 15, which is in its first season at the Division I level, after making the transition from Division II this summer.
The Cougars host Power 5 foes Florida State (Nov. 19) and Washington State (Dec. 21) in Fertitta Center as a part of their 14-game home slate.
The Cougars' conference opener is against SMU on Dec. 30. Houston's Jan. 29 game against Tulane will be nationally televised on ESPNU.
