Last week the Houston track and field team had a stand out performance at its first meet of the 2021-22 indoor track season. Priscilla Adejukon recorded the No. 5 mark in the nation in the weighted throw. Her 21.76 throw was a meet record as well as a personal best. Shaun Maswanganyi finished the 200m with a time of 21.20 putting him on the national leader board as well. Brandon Seagreaves also set a meet record with his performance in the 3000 meter as he finished the race with a time of 8:29.29. Following their performances at the Leonard Hilton Memorial Meet, Adejukon and Maswanganyi were awarded American Athlete of the Week.

Tickets for University of Houston home collegiate track meets can be purchased here. Adult tickets are available for $10 and children tickets for $5. Parking will be available in lot 16B for $10 per vehicle. A parking map can be found on the Meet Information page.
