Conference Matrix for 2021-22 Season Announced

Cougars to face eight conference opponents inside the Fertitta Center
HOUSTON – The American Athletic Conference announced the matrix for the 2021-22 women's basketball season on Thursday morning, highlighted by eight conference home games for the University of Houston Women's Basketball team.
The Cougars are set to face Cincinnati, East Carolina, Memphis and Wichita State once during the regular season. Cincinnati and ECU will make trips to Houston, while the Cougars will visit Memphis and Wichita State.
UCF, USF, SMU, Temple, Tulane and Tulsa are slated for two meetings with the Cougars during the upcoming season with contests slated to take place both at home and on the road for each program.
Houston will preface the regular season by traveling to Cancun, Mexico for the Cancun Challenge Nov. 25-27 at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya. UH is set for meetings with Arizona State, Fordham and Baylor. The full 2021-22 schedule will be released at a later date.
