Cougars welcome back alumni for weekend action
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Track & Field program returns to action on April 3 inside the Carl Lewis International Complex for the Houston Alumni Invitational.
Meet action is set to begin at 10 a.m. and will be streamed live via the Houston Track & Field Facebook page. Heat Sheets and Meet Information can be found by clicking HERE. Live results can be accessed by clicking HERE.
Houston will welcome back its alumni for one of its signature outdoor meets of the season when it welcomes competitors from Rice, Lamar, Northwestern State, Houston Baptist and Sam Houston State for the Houston Alumni Invitational.
The Cougars return to action after statement performances at both the Texas Relays and the Victor Lopez Classic. UH finished the second week of outdoor track & field with two program records and an NCAA-leading time in the men's 4x100-meter relay. Nora Monie and Shaun Maswanganyi each picked up American Athletic Conference weekly honors as the Cougars earned recognition for the second straight week.
HOUSTON ATTENDANCE POLICY
Limited tickets for Houston Track & Field will now be sold on a single-game, general admission basis while supplies last.
All facilities and related spring sporting events will operate at 25 percent capacity of available seating throughout the remainder of the 2021 season.
