Houston Trip to Lamar Canceled

Cougars midweek match off due to rain
HOUSTON - The Houston tennis team trip to Lamar scheduled for Wednesday afternoon has been canceled due to potential inclement weather in the area.
Originally scheduled for February 5, the match was then postponed due to weather issues. Then scheduled for March 3, the match was delayed due to COVID-19 issues within the Cardinals program. Still, the third time was not the charm as the two teams who have met for three straight seasons will not compete in 2021.Â
With the schedule change, Houston finishes the season 6-3 on the road with those three losses all coming to ranked opponents. The program had not won six road matches in a season since the 2010-11 campaign.Â
