Gladney Earns The American Player of the Week Honors

Cougar junior led squad to fifth straight win
HOUSTON – University of Houston junior guard Dymond Gladney was rewarded for a stellar outing in Cincinnati earning American Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors.
Gladney led all scorers at Fifth Third Arena with a season-high 23 points. She also recorded 2 rebounds and a team-high four steals. The 20-point outing marked the fourth of Gladney's career and her first this season. She paced the Cougars with a team-high 56 assists this season and 34 steals.
The weekly honor marks the Cougars third this season and the second of Gladney's career.
Houston will return to action on Wednesday when the team travels to Wichita State to close out the regular season series with the Shockers.
