HOUSTON – Due to this week's severe winter storm across the region, the University of Houston Athletics Department announced on Friday an updated events schedule for this weekend's activities.
UH Athletics will continue to work with campus officials to monitor the ongoing situation and will make necessary adjustments based on the after-effects of this week's storm.

MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Cougars' matchup on Sunday with Cincinnati remains on schedule and is set for a noon tip-off on ESPN. At this time, normal game operations are anticipated and fans who have tickets for Sunday's game are very much encouraged to attend.
BASEBALL
Houston will open the 2021 season on Saturday with a doubleheader against Texas Southern. First pitch is set for 11 a.m. CT on Saturday from Schroeder Park. Saturday's second game will follow 45 minutes after the conclusion of game one. Sunday's series finale is set for 2 p.m. against Texas Southern.
Attendance for Houston baseball is limited to pass list guests only for home and visiting student-athletes. All three games of the series will be available to watch on ESPN+.
SOFTBALL
The Cougars continue their homestand on Sunday as they host No. 2/3 Oklahoma with a doubleheader set to begin at noon at Cougar Softball Stadium. Sunday's second game will follow 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. UH will take on Tarleton State on Monday with first pitch set for 1:30 p.m. CT at Cougar Softball Stadium.
Attendance for Houston softball is limited to pass list guests only for home and visiting student-athletes. Sunday's doubleheader will be available to watch on ESPN+ and Monday's matchup against Tarleton State can be caught on UHCougars.com.
VOLLEYBALL
The Cougars' pair of matches against Tulane will take place on Saturday and Sunday. Both matches are set for 2 p.m. CT. Both matches were originally scheduled to take place during the mid-week, but moved to the weekend due to the winter storm.
While no attendance is permitted for these matches, fans are encouraged to watch on UHCougars.com.
