Houston Reveals Schedule Change

Cougars play host to #AmericanHoops rival Cincinnati at noon, Sunday, Feb. 21, inside Fertitta Center
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Men's Basketball program and the American Athletic Conference announced a change to the Cougars' 2020-21 schedule on Wednesday.
Houston's Feb. 21 showdown against Cincinnati now will be played inside the Fertitta Center in Houston on that date. Tipoff is noon. The game will be shown on ESPN and can be heard on 950 AM KPRC and the TuneIn app.
The game site was adjusted after COVID-related issues with Cincinnati caused the first scheduled matchup between the teams, slated for Jan. 23 in Houston, to be postponed.
In instances like this, The American's athletics directors agreed that, when possible, the next game will default to the home site of the team that did not have the COVID-related issues that led to the previously postponed game.

• Before facing Cincinnati, the Cougars will meet American Athletic Conference rival USF at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 10, inside the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Fla.
