San Diego Native, Johnson commits to play for the Cougars in 2022-23
HOUSTON – Taryn Johnson signed a national letter of intent on Tuesday, committing to play for the women's basketball team for the 2022-23 season, head coach Ron Hughey announced Wednesday.
Johnson, San Diego native, averaged 15.4 points per game with 6.9 rebounds during her junior season at Cathedral Catholic High School.
The 5-foot 10 guard/forward was a First Team all-CIF San Diego and All-Western League player her sophomore season and followed it up helping her team to a league championship during her junior year.
