Cougars start season 2-0 for the first time since 2012
Spearheaded by a three-run bottom of the sixth, the Cougars (2-0) began the day with a 4-3 comeback victory over UMass Lowell (1-1), which was then followed by Hulon's historical outing in the 9-0 win over Valparaiso (1-1).
Her no-hitter marks the first time in American Athletic Conference history that a freshman pitcher no-hit an opponent in their debut. Houston's 2-0 start to the season is also the program's first since 2012.
