Dymond Gladney Earns Conference Player of the Week

Sophomore averages 22.5 points per game this past week
HOUSTON – Sophomore guard Dymond Gladney caps off a stellar week of play, earning American Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors.
After seeing limited action as a sophomore, Gladney has more than tripled her production from last season highlighted by 45 points this past week against USF and Tulane. Gladney helped the Cougars close out the week 1-1, posting a pair of double-digit scoring efforts including a career-high 29 points in an overtime victory over Tulane on the road.
The Los Angeles native sank a season-high six three-pointers, the most for any Cougar this season in a single-game. Along with her 29 points against the Green Wave, Gladney secured a career-high five steals. The sophomore led Houston in scoring during both of last week's contests and has now scored in double-figures in the last five games, including two 20-point scoring efforts.

New for the 2019-20 season are the Women's Basketball Flex Plans. One Flex Plan includes 10 general admission game vouchers. The vouchers can be redeemed all at once or can be used throughout the season for any combination of Houston Women's Basketball home games, excluding the Dec. 19 game against Southern Miss.
