Houston Spring Opener First Round Postponed

Cougars to play 36 holes Monday with 18 holes Tuesday at Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Championship
NEW ORLEANS – Due to inclement weather, the University of Houston's Women's Golf program's First Round at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Championship was postponed.
The Cougars now will play 36 holes on the 6,336-yard, par-73 layout at English Turn Country Club with the final 18 holes slated to start Tuesday morning.
Houston will compete against Colorado State, No. 47 Denver, No. 10 Florida, Iowa, No. 32 Miami (Fla.), No. 13 Michigan State, NC State, North Texas, SMU, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Tulane, Tulsa and UAB.

PAIRINGS
For Monday's first two rounds, the Cougars will compete in groups with student-athletes from NC State and Colorado State.

UP NEXT
Following the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Championship, Houston plays host to the ICON Invitational on Feb. 24-25 on the Tournament Course at The Woodlands Country Club.
From there, the Cougars head west to compete at the Clover Cup on March 13-15 at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Ariz.
