Crump Named to The American Weekly Honor Roll

Redshirt sophomore helps Cougars remain spotless at home
HOUSTON – University of Houston Women's Basketball redshirt sophomore Miya Crump was named to The American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll that was announced earlier today.
Crump helped the Cougars snap Stephen F. Austin's five-game winning streak, dropping a season-high 16 points as Houston edged SFA in a 61-59 decision. The former Southland Freshman of the Year showed up on the defensive end of the court as well, racking up two blocks and three steals. Crump was 6-of-11 from the field, including a 4-of-8 from behind the three-point line. She knocked down two three-pointers in the fourth quarter to help spark the run that ultimately secured the Cougars first win over SFA since 1990.
