Dodik Joins Houston Tennis Program

The Bosnian product signs her National Letter of Intent
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Tennis program has signed Maja Dodik to a National Letter of Intent, head coach Helena Besovic announced Tuesday.
"We are very excited to welcome Maja to our Houston family," Besovic said. "She is an accomplished tennis player, a dedicated student and a great person. I'm confident that she will have a positive impact on our team with her excellent work ethic and her hunger to keep improving on the court and in the classroom."
The native of Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Dodik comes to Houston as a BiH National Champion in the 18 subdivision. According to the International Tennis Federation, Dodik ranks 595 in singles and 584 in doubles.
Dodik also holds an overall win-loss record of 13-4 in juniors. She has a 7-2 record on clay and a 6-2 mark on all other surfaces.
