Myyah West Returns to Houston as Graduate Assistant

Cougar alum to join women’s basketball staff
HOUSTON –The University of Houston women's basketball team is excited to welcome Cougar alum, Myyah West back to Cullen as the Graduate Assistant for the 2020-21 season.
West returns to Houston after spending two seasons with the Cougars (2017-19), appearing in 47 games and making 36 starts. During her senior season she notched a career-best 12 points against SMU before having her senior season cut short due to injury.
The Mississippi native earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University and was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee during her time at UH.
