Houston to Hold Red vs. White Series

Best-of-three series to take place prior to 2020 season
HOUSTON – Looking to continue its upward trend of recent success, the University of Houston Softball team will open its 2020 campaign with its annual Red vs. White intra-squad exhibition series at Cougar Softball Stadium.

The best-of-three event will begin Friday, Jan. 31, at 6 p.m. The second game slated to begin Saturday, Feb. 1, at 10 a.m., with the third, if-necessary game set for noon.
Attendance to is free for fans, who are encouraged to come get their first look at the 2020 team. The. Cougars are coming off a 39-win season and its first NCAA Regional final appearance since 2011.

Houston's 2020 schedule is highlighted by 13 contests against opponents who competed in the 2019 NCAA Regionals, with two matchups against opponents who qualified for a Super Regional and one contest against perennial national powerhouse Oklahoma, who went all the way to the WCWS Championship Series.
