Jones Ready for Saturday's Senior Bowl

Offensive tackle is fifth Houston player to six years to play in the game
HOUSTON – Houston Football senior offensive tackle Josh Jones is set to play in the 2020 Senior Bowl this Saturday in Mobile, Ala. The game will kick off at 1:30 p.m. CT and be televised on the NFL Network.
Jones is the fifth member of the Houston program to be invited to play in the Senior Bowl in the last six years, following Isaiah Johnson (2019), Tyus Bowser (2017), William Jackson III (2016) and Joey Mbu (2015).
Jones was named a Pro Football Focus Midseason All-American in 2019, while also earning a spot on The American's all-conference second team.
A team captain, Jones made 45 career starts at left tackle after stepping into the role as a redshirt freshman in 2016.
He was tabbed to the Outland Trophy Preseason Watch List prior to the start of the 2019 season.

The Senior Bowl is the nation's most unique football game and football's premier senior showcase event. It annually features the country's best senior collegiate football players and top NFL draft prospects on teams representing the North and South that are coached by the entire coaching staffs of two National Football League teams.
