Cougars send full squad to compete on the weekend
HOUSTON – Houston Tennis continues the 2019 fall season when it hits the road for Columbia, Mo. to compete in the Mizzou Invitational across Sep. 20-22.

"We've been practicing with high intensity the last couple of weeks and now it's time to put all of that together and compete hard this weekend. We'll get to play a lot of matches and that's exactly what we need right now to keep getting better" said Head Coach Helena Besovic.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Cougars will send the full squad to compete on the weekend, including newcomers Azul Pedemonti and Manasi Reddy.
- Doubles action will open Friday afternoon at 1 p.m., when Houston will face Tulsa.
- Closely following doubles, singles action will open Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m., when Houston is set to face invitational host Mizzou.
- Houston will resume doubles action Saturday morning at 9 a.m. when it takes on Mizzou, followed by SMU at 10 a.m.
- On the singles court, Houston will go head-to-head with Tulsa, Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
- Wrapping up the weekend, Houston will take on SMU in singles, Sunday morning at 9 a.m.
