Houston Reveals 2019-20 Schedule

Cougars open season with Nov. 9 exhibition against Angelo State, Nov. 12 opener vs. Alabama State
HOUSTON – The University of Houston Men's Basketball program looks to defend its American Athletic Conference championship with 16 home games inside the beautiful Fertitta Center during the 2019-20 season.
Under the leadership of two-time, defending American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year Kelvin Sampson, the Cougars released their complete 2019-20 schedule on Friday morning.
All but one of the Cougars' 31 regular-season games will be televised on the ESPN family of networks, CBS Sports, CBS Sports Network and the Pac-12 Network. The Cougars' regular-season finale against Memphis on March 8 in the Fertitta Center marks CBS Sports' first visit to televise a Houston home game since welcoming Virginia to Hofheinz Pavilion on Feb. 26, 1984.
Tip-off times are subject to change for television. Tip-off times and broadcasting networks which were not announced in today's release will be announced soon.

Fans may purchase season tickets for as low as $225, while University of Houston graduates from the previous five academic years qualify for special Young Alumni pricing in Section 117 for only $175.

THE SCHEDULE
The Cougars previously released their non-conference schedule. That slate begins with a Nov. 9 exhibition game against Angelo State and officially starts with a Nov. 12 opener against Alabama State.
Additional home games inside the Fertitta Center include BYU (Nov. 15), Houston Baptist (Nov. 26), Texas State (Dec. 4), UT Arlington (Dec. 11), Oklahoma State (Dec. 15) and UTEP (Dec. 19).
After competing at the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic on Dec. 22-25, the Cougars open The American play when they take on UCF (Jan. 3) inside the Fertitta Center.
Following road games at Temple (Jan. 7) and at Tulsa (Jan. 11), the Cougars play host to SMU (Jan. 15). Additional road games in league play include UConn (Jan. 23), USF (Jan. 26), Tulane (Feb. 6), Wichita State (Feb. 9), Tulsa (Feb. 19), Cincinnati (March 1) and Memphis (March 8).
Houston hits the road in league action to take on Wichita State (Jan. 18), ECU (Jan. 29), Cincinnati (Feb. 1), USF (Feb. 12), SMU (Feb. 15), Memphis (Feb. 22) and UConn (March 5).
