Houston will meet Tulane and UCF in home games inside the Fertitta Center only while squaring off at ECU and at Temple in road games only.
The team's non-conference schedule will be announced soon with the complete conference schedule, game times and broadcasting networks all coming at a later date.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE SCHEDULE MATRIX

ABOUT THE COUGARS
Under the leadership of two-time defending American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year Kelvin Sampson, the Cougars return one starter and six letterwinners from last season's record-setting squad.
A year ago, Houston set a school record with 33 wins and advanced to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 for the first time since 1984. The Cougars captured the outright American Athletic Conference regular-season title by two games and rattled off 15- and 12-game winning streaks on the way to a 27-1 record midway through the year.
More than 100,000 fans poured into the Fertitta Center in the $60-million facility's inaugural season with the Cougars posting a 14-1 record and a nation-leading 33 consecutive home victories at one point in their new home.
Junior guard and 2019 The American Sixth Man of the Year DeJon Jarreau returns as the Cougars' leading scorer with 8.7 points per contest a year ago and averaged 3.3 assists per game to rank second on the team.
Sophomore guard Nate Hinton was named to The American All-Freshmen Team after tallying 7.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game in his inaugural collegiate season. The Gastonia, N.C., native enters the 2019-20 campaign as Houston's leading returning rebounder.
Junior forward Fabian White missed the first month of the season with a foot injury but rebounded to average 6.3 points and 4.0 rebounds per game.
The Cougars will be boosted with the play of freshman guard Caleb Mills and junior forward Justin Gorham, each of whom sat out a year ago as redshirts, as well as the addition of freshman guard Marcus Sasser and freshman forward J'Wan Roberts.
