Harm Represents UH at Augusta National Women’s Amateur

AUGUSTA, Ga. – University of Houston senior All-American Leonie Harm will make history when she competes in the inaugural Augusta National Women's Amateur beginning Wednesday morning.
Harm will be part of an international field featuring 72 amateurs competing over 54 holes of stroke play. After 36 holes, a cut will take place with the leading 30 players advancing to play at Augusta National Golf Club.
The first 36 holes will be played over two days on the Island and Bluff nines at Champions Retreat Golf Club. The entire field will play Augusta National for an official practice round on Friday with the Final Round featuring the Top-30 competitors Saturday.

ABOUT LEONIE HARM
Harm earned her way into the Augusta National Women's Amateur Championship with her victory at the Ladies' British Open Amateur Championship last summer, making her the first German to win that title since the event began in 1892.
A native of Gerlingen, Germany, Harm was named the 2017-18 American Athletic Conference Player of the Year after competing at the NCAA Championships as an individual qualifier for the second time in her career.
She finished fourth at the NCAA Austin Regional a year ago after shooting a school-record 65 in the Final Round to force a playoff.
Harm enters the Augusta National Women's Amateur Championship ranked No. 12 in the latest Golfstat standings and at No. 13 in the most recent Women's Amateur Golf Rankings.
PAIRINGS
Harm will compete with Ainhoa Olarra (Spain) and Dylan Kim (USA) during the first two rounds. The group will tee off in the First Round off No. 10 at 8:48 a.m. (CDT) Wednesday and begin the Second Round at 9:24 a.m. (CDT) Thursday.
HOW to WATCH
Saturday's Final Round from Augusta National Golf Club will air on NBC Sports from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. (CDT) Saturday.
Golf Channel will deliver highlights, live reports and news coverage throughout the event, including onsite during the first two rounds at Champions Retreat.
Additionally, Golf Channel's Live from The Masters begins Friday from Augusta National Golf Club and wrap ANWA Coverage on Saturday and the Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals on Sunday.
