The Reese's College All-Star Game features the top senior student-athletes from NCAA Division I competing on the NCAA Final Four floor. The game is played as part of Final Four Friday and is FREE and open to all fans.
Robinson and Davis are the first Cougars to compete in the Reese's All-Star Game since guard Aubrey Coleman played in the 2010 event. Both student-athletes are scheduled to graduate this spring with bachelor's degrees in health.
The game tips off at 3:30 p.m., Friday, inside US Bank Stadium and can be seen live on CBS Sports Network or by clicking here. Fans can follow live stats by clicking here.
Robinson and Davis will play for the West All-Stars for Coach Jason Terry. They will be joined by Chris Clemons (Campbell), Nick Perkins (Buffalo), Drew McDonald (Northern Kentucky), Josh Sharma (Stanford), Jordan Murphy (Minnesota), Cameron Young (Quinnipiac), Barry Brown (Kansas State) and Shizz Alston Jr. (Temple).
They will compete against the East All-Stars under Coach Nate Robinson. That team consists of Vasa Pusica (Northeastern), Matt Morgan (Cornell), B.J. Stith (Old Dominion), John Konchar (Fort Wayne), James Palmer Jr. (Nebraska), Jarrell Brantley (College of Charleston), Jessie Govan (Georgetown), Ahmad Caver (Old Dominion), Cameron Jackson (Wofford) and Devontae Cacock (UNC Wilmington).
ABOUT GALEN ROBINSON Jr.
Robinson was the Cougars' lone four-year letterman on the 2018-19 roster and enjoyed a distinguished career. The Houston native and Westbury Christian product competed in all 136 games of his collegiate career to set a school record and joined Michael Young (1980-84) as the only players to win 100+ games in the Scarlet and White.
He finished fourth in Houston career history with 573 assists and ended his collegiate career as The American's all-time leader in that category.
In March, Robinson received the Sportsmanship Award from the American Athletic Conference. During his career, he has met and signed autographs for Buddy Basketball team members, assisted in the organization and distribution of supplies to local relief groups following Hurricane Harvey, talked with younger students about the importance of reading during the NCAA Read to the Final Four Literacy Program at Blackshear Elementary School and served Thanksgiving lunches to Star of Hope mission residents.
ABOUT COREY DAVIS
Davis was a leader for the Cougars throughout his senior season. The Lafayette, La., native led Houston with 17.0 points per game and was one of Houston's and the American Athletic Conference's most prolific 3-pointers, draining 111 treys in 296 attempts.
With his trey total in 2018-19, Davis joined Robert McKiver as the only Cougars to post multiple seasons with 100+ 3-point field goals during their careers
Davis enjoyed 12 20-point games in 2018-19 and scored a career-high 31 points with six assists in Houston's 85-69 win at No. 20/19 Cincinnati on March 10 in the regular-season finale. That win clinched the Cougars' first outright regular-season conference championship since 1984.
Davis moved past 1,000 points in his Houston career, becoming the 48th Cougar in school history to reach that milestone and finished his career with 1,086 points to rank 39th in program history
This season, Davis was been named to the All-America Athletic Conference First Team and USBWA District VII team and was selected for The American Championship All-Tournament Team for the second straight season.
