Houston Takes on SMU in Conference Tournament

The Cougars step foot on court to play in the quarterfinals
HOUSTON – The Houston Women's Tennis Team will face SMU in their first American Athletic Conference tournament at 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, in Orlando, Florida.Â
After a long semester of hard work, the Cougars earned the third seed in the conference tournament, finishing with a winning record of 14-6 in the regular season. Houston remains undefeated in conference play, defeating Wichita State, UConn, and the #2 seed of the tournament, USF.Â
ABOUT THE MUSTANGS
SMU will step foot on court in Orlando with a 10-11 record this season, defeating Tulane last, 4-2, in Round of 16. The Mustangs are lead by #121 ranked Vivienne Kulicke in singles, while Karina Traxler and Tiffany Hollebeck take on Flight 1 in doubles play.Â
