Davis Garners Third Weekly Honor from Bragan Slugger Award

Senior first baseman named Bragan Slugger Award Player of the Week
FORT WORTH, Texas -- University of Houston senior first baseman Joe Davis was named Bobby Bragan Collegiate Slugger Award Player of the Week, the association announced on Wednesday afternoon.
In the ninth week of the regular season, Davis went 7-for-15 on the week with three home runs, four walks, seven RBI and five runs scored.
On Friday at Wichita State, Davis collected his second multi-homer performance with two home runs.

• April 9 at Sam Houston State | 2-for-4, 1 HR, 1 BB, 1 RBI, 1 R
• April 12 at Wichita State | 3-for-5, 2 HR, 5 RBI, 3 R
• April 13 at Wichita State | 0-for-4, 1 BB, 1 R
• April 14 at Wichita State | 2-for-5 1 BB, 1 RBI
The honor is Davis' third from the organization. He was also tabbed Player of the Week on March 13 and April 3.
ON DECK
After a 4-0 week on the road, the Cougars return to Don Sanders Field at Darryl & Lori Schroeder Park for a four-game homestand.
Houston will host Texas A&M on Tuesday, in a game presented by ICON Information Consultants, before hosting Cincinnati in a three-game series running Thursday-Saturday. Kids that wear their baseball uniform to Friday's game against the Bearcats will get free admission, while parents can buy tickets for $3.
PARKING IN 2019
Gameday parking is offered in a different capacity than in prior years. Anyone entering Lot 16B (across the street from right field) will be subjected to paying a third party company employed by campus. This lot will no longer be an option for free parking on gamedays. All other lots surrounding the stadium will be free of charge two hours prior to first pitch.
