Houston Faces SMU at Home

The Cougars take on the Mustangs for their second conference match of the season
HOUSTON – The Houston Women's Tennis team are set to play conference foe SMU at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 8th at the Barbara Wallace Winston Tennis Facility.
This past Wednesday, Houston hosted Prairie View A&M for a dual-matchup, sweeping the Panthers in both matches, 4-0. The Cougars dropped only one set in singles and doubles combined throughout the day.
ABOUT THE MUSTANGS
SMU comes to Houston on Saturday with a 4-7 record, falling to the Texas A&M in their last match, 7-0. Senior Liza Buss leads the team at Flight 1, holding a 3-4 singles record and 4-4 in doubles.
UP NEXT FOR HOUSTON
The Cougars will travel to Long Beach, Calif. to face Long Beach State at 12 p.m. on Thursday, March 14. The next day, they will face San Diego State at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 15 in San Diego.
