Houston Announces Change in Volleyball Leadership

Search for Houston’s seventh head coach has commenced
HOUSTON – University of Houston Vice President for Athletics Chris Pezman announced Wednesday Houston Volleyball head coach Kaddie Platt has been provided a notice of her release today. A national search for Houston's seventh head coach has commenced.

"After a full and comprehensive evaluation of the Houston Volleyball program, we have decided to make a change in the leadership of our program," said Pezman. "We'd like to thank Kaddie for her oversight of the program over the last seven seasons. We have begun an immediate search for the next leader of the Houston Volleyball program and will not comment further until the search is concluded."

In seven seasons as Houston's head coach, Platt compiled a 94-123 record including a mark of 37-79 in American Athletic Conference action.
