ESPN’s College GameDay to Visit Fertitta Center

Pregame show will air from Houston at 10 a.m., March 2 for first time in program history
HOUSTON – For the first time in Houston Basketball history, ESPN's College GameDay Covered by State Farm will visit the Fertitta Center before the Cougars' March 2 American Athletic Conference showdown against UCF.
The show will air live on ESPN from the Fertitta Center court from 10 to 11 a.m., March 2 with hosts Rece Davis, Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg and Jay Williams.
Houston fans are invited to attend the show for FREE with FREE parking available. Doors open for University of Houston students at 8:30 a.m., March 2, with doors for non-UH students opening at 9 a.m.

No. 9/8 Houston plays host to UCF at 3 p.m., March 2, inside the Fertitta Center. Under the leadership of 2018 American Coach of the Year Kelvin Sampson, the Cougars have emerged as one of the nation's most elite defensive teams and won 25 of their first 26 games.
ABOUT the COUGARS
The Cougars currently lead the nation in winning percentage at .962 and rank among the country's Top-10 leaders in scoring defense (60.3 ppg, 5th), opponents' field goal percentage (36.4, 2nd), opponents 3-point field goal percentage (27.2, 3rd), rebounds per game (41.8 rpg, 4th) and rebounding margin (+8.2, 3rd).
Senior point guard Galen Robinson Jr. is tied with Reid Gettys for second in Houston history with 95 wins during his career. The Houston native and Westbury Christian native became only the sixth player in UH history to record 500+ assists during his career and is The American career leader in that category.
Senior guard Corey Davis Jr. leads the Cougars with 15.7 points per game and ranks among the nation's Top-20 leader in free throw percentage.

Limited tickets are available for the Cougars' two remaining home games against UCF (March 2) and SMU (March 7). Single-game tickets begin for as low as $10.
Fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets soon for the last two games before all are sold.
