Junior runner shoots up to fourth in conference

COLLEGE STATION – Brianne Bethel won the 400-meter dash and clocked the fourth-fastest time in UH history with a time of 54.29 and shot up to No. 4 in the American Athletic Conference Saturday night at the Aggie Twilight.

Felipe Valencia won shot put with a throw of 59-4.75 (18.10m) to close out the night.

Travis Collins finished third in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.74.
