Career day from Gladney helps Houston advance to title game
BRONX, N.Y. – University of Houston sophomore guard Dymond Gladney was named the College Sports Madness Conference Player of the Week.
Gladney had a career day against the Pride, posting a career-best 19 points, nearly matching her career-high in assists with six and grabbing two rebounds in 40 minutes of action. The sophomore has posted double-figure efforts in four of the Cougars last five games and has more than doubled her production from last season.
Houston will compete for the Championship at the Fordham Holiday Classic after defeating Hofstra 54-44 on Sunday afternoon inside the Rose Hill Gymnasium. Tip-off is slated for 2 p.m. CT and will be streamed live on ESPN+ by clicking HERE.

Prices for single-game tickets for the 2019-20 season start as low as $8 for general admission. Floor seating and general admission club seating are also available for purchase.
New for the 2019-20 season are the Women's Basketball Flex Plans. One Flex Plan includes 10 general admission game vouchers. The vouchers can be redeemed all at once or can be used throughout the season for any combination of Houston Women's Basketball home games, excluding the Dec. 19 game against Southern Miss.
