Busy Sunday Set at Fertitta Center

Judge Roy Hofheinz statue to be dedicated at 1 p.m., Celia & Barry Milner Tradition of Excellence and Roy Hofheinz Walls to be revealed, Blue-Shirt, Red-Tie T-Shirts, Student Tailgate, Coke Caravan and more
HOUSTON – As the University of Houston Men's Basketball program prepares for Sunday's 2 p.m., game against Oklahoma State inside Fertitta Center, fans are invited to enjoy several pregame events and festivities.
The Cougars will officially dedicate the statue of Judge Roy Hofheinz with members of the Hofheinz Family and reveal the Celia & Barry Milner Tradition of Excellence Wall.
Limited tickets are available for Sunday's game against the Cowboys. Tickets are available for purchase here. Fans also will enjoy a Student Tailgate and the Coke Caravan in Cemo Plaza, Blue-Shirt/Red-Tie T-shirts and more before the game.
JUDGE ROY HOFHEINZ STATUE DEDICATION
Members of Judge Roy Hofheinz' family will officially dedicate his statue in front of the Fertitta Center lower Club entrance off Holman Street at 1 p.m., Sunday. Fans are invited to attend this event before heading into the Fertitta Center for the game.
The Hofheinz Family will be recognized in a ceremony at halftime.
Fans also can learn more about Hofheinz and his contributions to the University, city and state with the Roy Hofheinz Wall on the concourse near Section 107.
Hofheinz Pavilion was named in honor of Hofheinz, the Texas state representative, Harris County judge, city of Houston Mayor and entrepreneur who gained acclaim for conceiving and spearheading the construction of the Astrodome.
Hofheinz and his wife, Irene, met as students at the University of Houston in 1929. They later created the Judge Roy Hofheinz Foundation, which contributed $1.5 million toward the construction of the Pavilion.
CELIA & BARRY MILNER TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE WALL
Fans will enjoy the rich history of Houston Basketball with the Celia & Barry Milner Tradition of Excellence Wall on the concourse near Section 117.
The Wall features Houston's five NCAA Final Four trophies, retired jersey honorees and Athletics Hall of Honor inductees, NCAA Final Four and NCAA Tournament appearances and the Game of the Century.
It was named in honor of Celia and Barry Milner, longtime supporters of Houston Athletics.

PROMOTIONS
In recognition of Head Coach Kelvin Sampson's regular game-day attire, Houston Athletics will be giving away FREE blue shirt & red tie T-shirts to the first 2,000 fans at Sunday's game against Oklahoma State. Doors open at 12:30 p.m., Sunday.
UH students will enjoy a free Student Tailgate ahead of Sunday's game with free food, drinks and games, beginning at 11:30 a.m., in Cemo Plaza. The first 300 students at the Student Tailgate will receive wristbands for floor seating and a blue-shirt, red-tie T-shirt.
The Coke Caravan will be held in Cemo Plaza in front of the Fertitta Center on the Cullen Boulevard side, beginning at noon, Sunday. Santa Claus will be available for photos with lots of prizes available, including holiday socks
Fans are invited to take photos with Shasta and Sasha Claus on the concourse during pregame and halftime at all home games in the Fertitta Center through Dec. 20.
Fans are invited to participate in the KHOU Secret Santa Toy Drive. With the donation of an unwrapped toy at the Fertitta Center entrances, fans will receive a voucher for a discounted $10 ticket at a future home game.

Regular-season single-game tickets for the University of Houston Men's Basketball program's 2019-20 season are on sale now, and fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets soon before all are gone.
Fans can purchase single-game tickets at the Houston Athletics Ticket Office during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, and any time at uhcougars.com/tickets.
Fans who were unable to purchase season tickets can get a head start for the 2020-21 season by placing their names on the Priority Waiting List for only a $50 deposit. To reserve places on the Priority Waiting List, fans can register by clicking here and follow the appropriate links from the right column.
