Houston Announces 2019-20 Promotions

Cougars open home slate on Nov. 9
HOUSTON – The 2019-20 season is underway, and the University of Houston Women's Basketball team is happy to announce its promotions for the 2019-20 season.
New for the 2019-20 season is the pre-game light show powered by the Cue Live app. Fans can take part in the player introductions by downloading the app inside the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
SEASON LONG PROMOTIONS
>> Cub Zone (Every Game)
The cub zone in located on the concourse behind sections 107-109, kids can enjoy the cub zone with fun activities including:
>> Post-Game Team Autographs (Weekend Games)
Fans can receive team autographs from the women's basketball team following each home weekend game.
>> Bingo Nights (Weekday Games)
On each game falling on a weekday, fans can participate in basketball bingo. Each game will have up to four winners. Each winner will win a swag bag as well an invitation and tickets to Champions Night as the team takes on UConn on Feb 29.
Through the month of November, fans can donate non-perishable foods or toiletries to receive a discount ticket for future games.
The Fertitta Center on the campus of the University of Houston will act as a drop off location for the 2019 KHOU Secret Santa Toy Drive as the Men's & Women's Basketball teams host several games through Dec 19th. As you are out shopping and making plans to attend games during the month of December, be sure to grab an extra toy or teddy bear. During the game on Dec. 8 there will be a Teddy Bear Toss during half time. Those who donate will receive a discounted admission.

Hoops & Heroes + Lace up for the Cure
Nov. 9 vs. Southeastern Louisiana – 1 p.m.
Houston Women's Basketball is teaming up with the Go 4 the Goal Foundation as they raise awareness for Pediatric Cancer to raise money for those families affected. Fans may purchase tickets or donate directly to the Go 4 the Goal Foundation.

International Culture Night
Nov. 17 vs. Houston Baptist – 2 p.m.
Houston will host a pre-International Education Week event, co-hosted by the University's International Student Organization. We will celebrate and recognize the diversity of both the University of Houston and its athletics department.
Youth Basketball Night & Camper Reunion + Student Appreciation
Nov. 23 vs. Oklahoma – 2 p.m.
We welcome back all Houston Women's Basketball campers back to the Fertitta Center. We will also show appreciation to our University of Houston students with free pizza and a raffle.
Oldies, but Goodies Day
Dec. 4 vs. Florida Gulf Coast – 2 p.m.
Houston welcomes senior living communities out for a day of basketball.
Shasta's Throwback Holiday Celebration + Teddy Bear Toss
Dec. 8 vs. Louisiana Tech – 2 p.m.
Join Shasta for a blast from the past holiday celebration. Enjoy your favorite 90's holiday songs and more. As a part of the KHOU canned food drive, the Annual Teddy Bear Toss will also take place at halftime.
Shasta's Education Day and Holiday Extravaganza
Dec. 19 vs. Southern Miss – 11 a.m.
Houston welcomes area elementary and middle schools for a day of education and a holiday celebration.
Fan Appreciation Day
Jan. 5 vs. Memphis – 3 p.m.
This one is for the fans. Fans can enjoy discount concessions and ticket prices for one-day only as the Cougars take on Memphis on ESPN3 to open American Athletic Conference.
Family Game Night
Jan. 8 vs. Temple – 7 p.m.
Join Houston Women's Hoops for a night of family fun. Fans will be able to participate in on-court games such as, life size hungry hippos and tic tac toe. Family 4-packs ticket packages will be available for purchase.
Women's Basketball Alumni Night + Daddy Daughter Day
Jan 19. vs. ECU – 2 p.m.
Houston Women's basketball will welcome back its alumni. This game will also serve as a Daddy Daughter play day. Come out an enjoy a pre-game activity as well as an opportunity to participate in a father daughter dance at half time.
Lunar New Year
Jan. 25 vs. Wichita State – 2 p.m.
Join us as we celebrate the Lunar New Years.
National Girls & Women's in Sports Day
Feb. 5 vs. SMU – 7 p.m.
Join us as we Celebrate National Girls & Women In Sports Day.
African American Heritage Night
Feb. 12 vs. UCF – 7 p.m.
Join us as we celebrate Black History Month at the Fertitta Centerr.
Coogs' For a Cure
Feb. 18 vs. Cincinnati – 7 p.m.
We invite all breast cancer survivors and advocates to the game as we raise awareness and celebrate those have fought and continue to fight breast cancer.
Senior Day + Black Out
Feb. 29 vs. UConn – 2 p.m.
Join us as we celebrate our Seniors; Dorian Branch, Jasmyne Harris and KeAjsa Peace.
SINGLE-GAME AND SEASON TICKETS ON SALE NOW
Prices for single-game tickets for the 2019-20 season start as low as $8 for general admission. Floor seating and general admission club seating are also available for purchase.
New for the 2019-20 season are the Women's Basketball Flex Plans. One Flex Plan includes 10 general admission game vouchers. The vouchers can be redeemed all at once or can be used throughout the season for any combination of Houston Women's Basketball home games, excluding the Dec. 19 game against Southern Miss.
Season packages start as low as $100 and include courtside, club and general admission seating. Houston's youngest alums (2014-19) are reminded that they are eligible for special Young Alumni pricing starting at $75. Ticket packages can be purchased HERE. Season ticket renewals can be found HERE.
