Tournament begins Monday morning with 36 holes at Innisbrook Golf Club
PALM HARBOR, Fla. – The University of Houston Men's Golf tournament begins a busy week when it tees off at the Intercollegiate at Innisbrook on Monday morning.
The two-day, 54-hole tournament begins at 7:15 a.m. (CDT) Monday with a shotgun start on the 7,209-yard, par-71 course. The Final Round tees off at 7 a.m. (CDT) Tuesday.
Following the Intercollegiate at Innisbrook, the Cougars head to the Bahamas to play host to the White Sands Invitational starting Friday at Ocean Club. Houston Women's Golf will host its own tournament at that venue beginning Monday morning.

THE LINEUP
The Cougars will be represented by junior Luke Long, junior Andrew Gibson, senior Logan Young, junior Alexander Frances and senior Matt Cole. Senior George Gardner will compete as an individual.
This season, Long and Young are tied for the team lead with 71.17 scoring averages. Long and Frances top the Cougars with four rounds of par or better while Young and Gibson are tied for third with three rounds apiece.
TEAM FIELD
The Cougars – who stand at No. 28 in the latest Golfstat national rankings – will compete against #50 USF, Campbell, Delaware, ECU, Florida Gulf Coast, Hartford, Houston Baptist, James Madison, Maryland, Memphis, Temple, UCF, USC Upstate, Wichita State and William & Mary.
PAIRINGS
For Monday's play, the Cougars will compete in groups with student-athletes from UCF and James Madison.
Long starts the day at 7:15 a.m., Monday , in the first group off No. 12, with Gibson (No. 13), Frances (first group off No. 14), Young (second group off No. 14) and Cole (No. 15) following.

The Cougars welcome Arkansas, Florida State, Georgia Southern, Illinois State, Louisiana Tech, Miami (Ohio), Middle Tennessee, Northern Illinois, Samford, SMU, UAB, Wake Forest and Wisconsin.
The Houston women's team will host their White Sands Invitational on Oct. 28-30.
