Cougars take top conference record on the road
HOUSTON – Off to one of its best starts in program history, the University of Houston Volleyball team hits the road for a pair of matches in the Sunshine State against UCF and USF.
The Cougars enter the weekend in a three-way tie with UCF and Cincinnati for the top conference record in The American. Houston's 7-1 record in conference play is one of its best starts to conference action in program history.
Last time out against Cincinnati, freshman middle blocker Rachel Tullos put together a performance for the ages, posting 17 blocks against the Bearcats. Not only did that mark set a conference record for most blocks in a five-set match, it also was just the fourth time since 2014 that a Division I player had reached that plateau.
