Cougars face 10 teams appearing in poll
HOUSTON – Heading into the 2019 season, the University of Houston Softball team will see itself appear in multiple preseason polls, as the Cougars received votes in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Poll that was announced Tuesday.

With its 31 points, Houston earned more votes than any other team outside of the Top 25. The Cougars' 2019 campaign will feature 10 opponents which also appeared in the poll, including five ranked teams.

On Tuesday, Houston was featured in the USA Today/NFCA Coaches Poll, as the Cougars received votes in that preseason poll as well. Houston hosts No. 13 Kentucky in its season opener on Feb. 8 at Cougar Softball Stadium.
SEASON TICKETS
Season tickets for the 2019 season are on sale now and can be purchased for $80. Fans can also purchase a flex package of 20 games, where they can choose which games they want to attend.
